London Legacy Development Corporation

East London works. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and surrounding area is a place of growth, innovation, education, new connections and new ideas – a place where east London once again makes things – and makes things happen.

As the Mayor of London’s strategic regeneration body for the area, the London Legacy Development Corporation is committed to redressing the balance of the capital so that east Londoners share in the benefits of economic growth and prosperity.
The Legacy Corporation aims to change the lives of local people so no-one is left behind. Better life chances for east Londoners is good for London and for the whole of the UK. Industry, jobs, skills and education are at the heart of this.
Telling east London’s story
The story of the Legacy Corporation’s socio-economic programme is also the story of east London – past, present and future. The Corporation needed an exciting and engaging narrative to tell that story.
Following a highly competitive tender process, we’ve been working closely with the socio-economic team to illustrates its vision and ambition and highlight its innovative employment and skills projects. We’re helping to inspire local people and businesses about the opportunities available and promote past successes and future ambitions to a wider audience.
This includes telling the stories – in their own words – of local people, employers, businesses and partners that have benefitted from the Legacy Corporation’s work.
Compelling case
We’ve helped the team to hone its messaging and mission: to connect the talents of east Londoners to the opportunities being created around the Park so that everyone has a chance to share in the benefits, whatever their background.
The result is a compelling invitation to employers, public authorities, schools, colleges and, above all, to east Londoners to continue to be inspired and to work together to connect the extraordinary new opportunities around the Park with the incredible talent in the area.
