So it is for ADNOC, the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, one of the largest energy producers in the world. ADNOC has a proud history of contributing to the UAE’s economic and social development over generations. 

Keeping the city moving
We were engaged to help ADNOC with engagement projects in Ruwais, a large city built to service the oil industry in the UAE. As the city has grown, its bus network has grown organically around it, with a confusing maze of routes, timetables and signage. Getting from A to B was becoming a daunting task for ADNOC employees.

The challenge was to create a clear visual way-finding language, bus livery and signage that would work for a population covering multiple languages and cultures across three city zones to help them get the best out of the city.

Brand logic
We’ve worked with the ADNOC team to rationalise way-finding and route iconography, bringing a vibrant colour logic to the network to help users find the right route and understand how the whole thing works.

We now work with ADNOC on a range of employee engagement programmes, from leadership development to exploring the future strategy of its shipping business.
