Time to RESET

It’s been a tough time for education, arts and culture. This Autumn, our client A New Direction launched Reset – A programme of support for the education & cultural sectors, a creative response to the pandemic.

The programme is an opportunity to take the chance to RESET and move forward with works, what doesn’t, and introduce new ways of working, together.

We worked with A New Direction to develop the concept of the RESET programme, the naming and identity and the communication and collaboration tools to help schools and the arts and culture sector RESET.

Steve Woodward from A new Direction said 'The Reset programme is our response to what has been a difficult and challenging year for everyone we work with. We needed a way to frame our support offer in a way that felt positive and purposeful, while recognising the challenges our communities have and are experiencing through the pandemic.'

Thirdperson helped us draw this together, develop our narrative and produced a fantastic visual language and brand that is now being rolled out and developed as we continue to find ways to support the education and cultural sectors Reset.

The schools strand of the Reset programme includes a Recovery Curriculum focus to support schools using the creative arts to address the impact of the pandemic on students’ lives and learning. We designed a series or learning resources for schools and education settings to creatively explore the impact and opportunity that covid has had on children's learning.

The cultural sector strand of the Reset programme aims to help foster resilience and adaptation as the sector works together through the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We worked with the A New Direction team to develop a workshop plan that explores three Critical Capacities emerging as vital for children and young people right now, alongside six Collaboration Conditions which offer ways of working together to support the development of these capacities for young people. The plan also includes six worksheets and an action planning tool to shape discussion around the ideas within your organisation or partnership.
